You may not have heard of Final Fantasy Crystal Defenders. It's understandable, considering it's currently only available for the iPhone and was released onto the app store without anyone really noticing. Crystal Defenders is a Tower Defense game based in the Final Fantasy Tactics A2 universe. It's also great fun, as you'd expect.
With the announcement that Crystal Defenders R1 is heading to WiiWare in Japan next week, there's also news that a PS3 port is also in the works, probably for PSN. There's no word yet on whether the PS3 version will have upgraded graphics or features, but we're hoping so. Though the word "port" doesn't fill us with confidence. Currently this is for Japan only, but condering the iPhone version was released worldwide, it seems likely these other versions will be too. If you don't want to wait you can try it out now by grabbing it from the iPhone app store.

Square Enix confirmaba esta misma mañana su intención de lanzar una adaptación de Crystal Defenders en XBLA, PlayStation Network y WiiWare. Se trata de un título desarrollado para teléfonos móviles que aparecía recientemente en iPhone.
La compañía ha resaltado que las tres adaptaciones modificarán el aspecto gráfico con respecto a la versión original, confirmando la fecha de lanzamiento, fijada para el próximo 27 de enero a un precio que rondará los 10 euros.
