With so many PS3 exclusives releasing in 2011 the news of another potential exclusive for the platform will certainly be welcomed by the console’s owners; an official announcement of Starhawk may be announced very soon.
Over on the NeoGAF forums, a reader was at the recent Game Developers Conference where he overheard the developers talking about the eventual announcement of the yet-to-be-unveiled sequel to Warhawk. The reader said:
Supposedly there will be an official announcement in the near weeks, i heard talking some devs at GDC about it, heheheh i was eavesdropping on the converstation.
The reader continued after being asked about any other details:
Yeah nothing more, the devs realized that i was hearing them so they started talking about something else.
Just recently, Dylan Jobe – the president of LightBox Interactive – tweeted: “The calm before the storm”. It’s anyone’s guess what he could mean with the tweet but it may very well relate to Starhawk and paired with the quotes above, gamers may very well receive the long awaited announcement of Starhawk in the coming weeks, 256 players,vehicles and more....
