Se anuncia oficialmente el desarrollo de Batman: Arkham Asylum

El título llegará a PS3, 360 y PC el próximo año

Recientemente, Eidos Interactive y Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment han anunciado oficialmente que están trabajando en un nuevo título de acción basado en la franquicia de Batman. El juego de este héroe de DC Comics tendrá por nombre Batman: Arkham Asylum, y se ha confirmado que llegará a PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 y PC a lo largo del 2009.

Como no podía ser de otra manera, en Arkham Asylum tomaremos el control de Batman, el superhéroe de Gotham. En el juego tendremos que enfrentarnos a los peores villanos del universo Batman utilizando para ellos sus habilidades intuitivas de detective y sus agresivos ataques cuerpo a cuerpo.

«In Batman: Arkham Asylum Eidos and Warner Bros. are building a true action adventure game experience worthy of gamers and fans,» said Phil Rogers, CEO of Eidos Interactive. «Players become Batman, like he has never been seen before in a video game, as he fights through intense circumstances in Arkham Asylum utilizing his intuitive detective skills and aggressive melee attacks.»

«Batman: Arkham Asylum offers players the chance to battle Gotham’s worst villains with Batman’s physical and psychological strength in a graphically distinct and story-driven game,» added Martin Tremblay, President, Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment.
